On June 28th, unveiling ceremony of the summer social practice base in grassroots level and the summary meeting of social practice activities of college of chemistry, Taiyuan University of Technology was held in the new era civilization practice center of Jinyuan District. Yan xiaofeng, deputy Party secretary of college of chemistry of TYUT, Zhang yongying, the director of new era civilization Practice Center in Jinyuan District, Ren lihua, Deputy director and publicity committee member of Yijing sub district office in Jinyuan District, attended the ceremony. More than 30 people, including the instructor Jia Changwei, Yijing sub district staff and all practice team members, participated in this activity.
At the unveiling ceremony, the practice social practice base was jointly built by the college of chemistry of Taiyuan University of Technology and Yijing sub district. The two sides indicated that they would establish a long-term cooperative relationship.
At the summary meeting, Yan Xiaofeng called on the students to cherish this exercise opportunity, seek true knowledge at the grassroots level, and turn wisdom into practical actions to serve the development of the grassroots level. Zhang yongying and Ren lihua fully affirmed the practice of the students and encouraged them to apply their knowledge to the grassroots work and contribute their wisdom to the grassroots.
The week-long summer social practice activities in grassroots level was an important classroom for young college students to display their talents, temper their will, and enhance their sense of social responsibility in the social class. Through many practical activities, it was hoped that college students can really go deep into the grassroots level, experience the real life state and spiritual outlook of community residents and contribute their wisdom to practice.
